News Travel Tourism: Israel to Launch Electronic Visa by the End of 2023
A long-awaited project is set to become a reality by the end of this year. As reported by VisaNews, international travelers requiring a visa to visit Israel will soon be able to apply for an electronic visa. This simplification of procedures aims to attract more tourists to the destination. It's worth noting that French travelers do not need a visa to enter Israel for stays of less than three months. Beyond that duration, a visa will be required.
As highlighted by VisaNews, travelers must have a passport valid for at least three months from the date of entry into Israel. Israeli authorities no longer stamp the passports of international visitors. Instead, visitors are issued a blue paper sticker, which must be kept throughout their stay.
It's worth recalling that Israel lifted all Covid-related restrictions in May of this year. The country is now accessible without specific health constraints.
