Manuel Collas de la Roche, President and Founder of Better World Fund, articulated the vision, stating, "In the enchanting realm of La Mostra, BWF's Venice edition serves as a tribute to women and a platform to heighten awareness of their indispensable role in the film industry. We firmly believe that cinema holds a significant place as a conduit for social, educational, and environmental values. Hence, it is crucial to sustain and encourage women's participation in all facets of the film industry to create a more just and inclusive society.
