Bulgari Unveils Opulent Rome Hotel with Breathtaking 300m² Suite
Bulgari has finally announced the opening date for its luxury hotel in Italy. Following the recent opening of a hotel complex in Japan, the Italian firm is returning to its roots, specifically to its hometown, Rome. The luxury house will inaugurate its ninth hotel address on June 9th, located at 10 Piazza Augusto Imperatore in the Campo Marzio district.
This establishment in Italy, particularly in Rome, marks a homecoming for Bulgari, which had previously focused on a global expansion strategy. The hotel will be situated in a historic building designed by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo and constructed in the 1940s. The building houses 114 rooms and suites, adorned with colors and inspirations from the Eternal City. The luxury brand has sought to pay homage to Rome's rich heritage, incorporating references to the reign of Emperor Augustus.
A design that boldly blends the past and present As usual, the Milanese architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is responsible for the hotel's design, seamlessly blending history and modernity. Its Roman heritage is expressed in both the exterior and interior design of the building. The 114 rooms are thoughtfully decorated in one of four colors: white, yellow, red, and green. Every decorative element is carefully considered, from the materials used, such as marble, to Bulgari-patterned tapestries. The Bulgari Suite, a true gem, perfectly showcases the ultra-luxury offered in this hotel: this 300-square-meter suite offers one of the most beautiful views of the city. It is furnished with Flexform and Maxalto furniture and features custom tapestries from the manufacturer Rubelli.
In addition to the luxury of these suites and rooms, the hotel offers state-of-the-art amenities and facilities, providing a complete wellness experience for guests. The 1500-square-meter Bulgari Spa includes a 25-meter indoor pool and 9 rooms offering unique and innovative body and mind treatments. A fitness area is also available, featuring a training method exclusively designed for Bulgari. Finally, the experience is complete with numerous restaurants, such as Il Ristorante-Niko and Romito, or La Terrazza, catering to every palate.
Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is also set to open three more hotel complexes soon, in Miami, Los Angeles, and the Maldives.
