Monaco Yacht Show 2024: Benetti Unveils the B.Loft Project and New Models from the B.Yond and Motopanfilo Ranges

During the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Benetti showcased its latest innovations in sustainable yachting while unveiling new models from its renowned B.Yond and Motopanfilo families. Staying true to its reputation as a prestigious builder, Benetti continues to push boundaries by integrating advanced technological solutions to meet the growing ecological demands in the luxury yachting sector.

Commitment to a Sustainable Lifestyle

Benetti reaffirms its commitment to a sustainable lifestyle by announcing the construction of eight hybrid units for the B.Yond and B.Now lines. At a press conference held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo, on the sidelines of the Monaco Yacht Show, the brand presented its latest advancements to the international press and its network of brokers.

Marco Valle, CEO of Benetti, opened the conference by highlighting the remarkable achievements of the group for the 2023-2024 period. With revenues of €1.3 billion and a backlog of €2.6 billion, Benetti anticipates a 15% growth for the upcoming season. This goal is supported by an investment plan of €160 million, intended to continue the brand's strategic priorities for the period 2025-2027.

This success is largely attributed to the excellent results obtained by the Benetti division, which currently has 58 units on order, totaling 30,900 gross tons, as confirmed by Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti's sales director.

The B.Yond Range: Innovation for Exploration

The B.Yond family stands out for its ability to marry technological innovation with environmental respect. Benetti develops this range around the concept of sustainable lifestyle, integrating innovative solutions to minimize the ecological impact of yachts.

Thanks to state-of-the-art electrification systems, the yachts in the B.Yond range allow for fuel consumption reductions of up to 20%. Benetti offers the widest hybrid range on the market, with 90% of models available in hybrid or diesel-electric versions. Onboard energy management is also optimized through heat recovery systems and direct expansion air-conditioning technology, allowing for service consumption reductions of up to 40%.

The shipyard has also signed an agreement with ENI for the use of HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) biofuel across all its operations. This partnership has enabled a reduction of CO2 emissions by 1,000 tons per year. This fuel, compatible with the entire Benetti range, decreases greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% when used as onboard fuel.

Benetti goes further by systematically installing SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems on its yachts under 500 GT, even though this is not legally required for this category. According to Benetti's estimates, this initiative reduces NOx emissions by 2.5 tons per yacht per year, thereby allowing its vessels to navigate in protected marine areas.

B.Yond 57M: A Yacht for All Experiences

The B.Yond 57M embodies the spirit of adventure with a design that allows for multiple cruising styles. This model offers three stern configurations: the "Beach" version, featuring a vast outdoor area and pool; the "Air" version, equipped with a touch-and-go helipad that can transform into a veranda; and the "Water" version, designed for stowing marine exploration equipment.

The extensive glazing of this 57-meter yacht lets in natural light, allowing for the use of carbon black-finished wood, creating bright interiors with panoramic sea views. This model is designed to ensure a luxurious cruising experience with minimal environmental impact, thanks to its innovative hybrid system.

B.Yond 40M: An Innovation that Expands Horizons

The B.Yond 40M is distinguished by its four decks, each dedicated to a specific function. With around 150 square meters of social areas surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, this 40-meter yacht offers interiors flooded with natural light. The lighter tones used, including bleached brushed oak, provide depth and character while ensuring durability.

This model, designed for long cruises, offers flexible configurations that meet the specific needs of its users while providing the classic elegance that defines the Benetti signature.

Motopanfilo 45M: A Modern Design for a Unique Experience

The Motopanfilo 45M, with its steel hull and aluminum superstructure, reinterprets the "Navetta" concept by combining modernity and conviviality. Designed in collaboration with RWD for the exterior styling and Lazzarini & Pickering Architetti for the interior layout, this model introduces the Veranda Deck® concept.

The Veranda Deck® completely opens the salon on the main deck on three sides, creating a veranda overlooking the infinity pool, with unobstructed views of the horizon. Natural materials like wicker, rattan, and bamboo grace the interior and exterior spaces, providing a unique sensory experience that emphasizes the connection with nature.

B.Loft: A New Approach to Yachting

The B.Loft project, designed by Cassetta Yacht Designers, represents a new vision of architecture aboard yachts. With its contemporary residential loft feel, B.Loft offers a unique experience aboard a megayacht. One of the revolutionary features of this project is the Cabana located on the main deck, which redefines the beach club concept.

This panoramic area offers a 270-degree view, with fold-down wings that further expand the available space. B.Loft combines the volumes of a villa with the luminosity of a loft, featuring ceilings of about four meters high and vast outdoor areas, some of which can be converted into interiors for maximum flexibility and customization.
